There Are No Solutions, Only Trade Offs
You can't have everything all of the time. You can't be fully focussed on work and fitness and family and the present and the future and nutrition and sleep and ambition and relaxation.
Too many people are wallowing in inaction, because they can't see a perfect way forward. Or they can't decide to do a thing, because it means they can't do the other thing.
What if you looked at that a different way? What if you acknowledged from the start that every single thing you ever do is actually just a trade off?
You can't have everything all of the time. You can't be fully focussed on work and fitness and family and the present and the future and nutrition and sleep and ambition and relaxation.
You are going to go deep on fitness for a few months. Trade that for fewer nights out with friends.
You are going to launch a company. Trade that for family time and exercise.
You are going to invest more in a pension. Trade that for a holiday this year.
As long as you are clear about the trades you are making, you are in control.
