The Reason Most People Are Failing
What's the difference between my failure as a surfer and my success at YouTube with a tiny set of subscribers?
I'm a failed musician.
I am a failed professional footballer
I'm a failed lawyer, dentist, surfer, magician and TV presenter.
And yet, I am a successful podcaster (with almost zero listens on Spotify), a successful YouTuber (with 20 subscribers), a successful juggler (who can manage 3 balls sometimes) and a successful coach (with 700+ hours of coaching).
So what's the difference between my failure as a surfer and my success at YouTube with a tiny set of subscribers?
The difference is that I've never tried to be a surfer, musician, lawyer, dentist, magician or TV presenter. But I have tried, and continue to try, everything else.
You see, most people aren't failing because they try and lose; they're failing because they don't try at all.
I make countless mistakes in podcasting, video recording, juggling and coaching all the time. But those mistakes only happen because I am willing to try things I am not good at. Yet.
So, what's the thing you are scared to try? And what help do you need to get started?
