When is the right time to do something new?

Too often we wait for the perfect moment or the right conditions. We'll do it soon. When we've finished something else. When I feel more certain.

All of these are forms of resistance. They are just different ways of saying, "I'll stay in my place."

And we do that because we know that trying new things is hard. They often fail, rarely go as planned and come with social risk. Only clowns want to fall down in public.

But of course it is true that you miss 100% of the shots you never take. Right?

I have a different way of thinking about this, which serves me very well. There will never be a perfect moment, you will never be completely prepared, you cannot know with certainty what will happen, and you probably will fall down in public.

But you never fail. You succeed or you learn.

And so, simply by starting something, you create the possibility of reward. The conditions don't come to you. You create the conditions.

Which leads me to my latest idea. HeRO Academy.

I am building something new that combines community, education and coaching. With price points that are genuinely accessible.

What I have done is take the best of my established Next Level You program and improve it so that it can be more self-directed. Then I have combined it with a new, supportive community platform.

I think it is going to really help people.
